We’re having a celebration. Because on 3.7.18, the date on the calendar matches Mount Teide’s height in metres.
So we’re celebrating Mount Teide’s 3718 m height with a prize draw for tickets to our Sunset & Stars (Sunset and Stars on Teide)!
How to enter the draw
We’ve made it easy for you. You only need a public profile on Instagram and...
- To upload to Instagram, between 2nd and 8th July 2018, a photo of you enjoying Mount Teide. They can be old photos, but newly posted ones will have an advantage.
- Use the hashtags #Teide3718 and #teidelover in the title of your post.
- Mention @volcanoteide
- To have already subscribed to our newsletter or subscribe at the same time as entering the draw.
And the prizes?
The winner will be drawn at random from among all the entries, and the prize will be a Sunset Tour including an astronomical observation session for 2 people, worth €140, to be used within a period of 12 months from the date of notification.
What is included in the Sunset Tour prize?
- Transportation from the north or the south of the island for a maximum of 15 people (if you arrive by your own car, we will meet you directly at the cable car base station)
- A guide
- A ticket for the Cable car at sunset to take in the sunset from the Pico Viejo viewpoint and behold the shadow of Mt Teide cast towards Gran Canaria
- Astronomical observation using long range telescopes in the company of our Starlight guides.

Here’s how we will announce the winner of the #Teide3178 draw
At some time on Monday 9th July 2018, we will repost the winner’s photo of this celebration draw on our Instagram account, in order to announce the result to the whole world.
And the winner must then claim his or her prize
Once we announce the winner, he or she must contact us via a private Instagram message, providing his/her name, the email address used to subscribe to our newsletter, and telephone number so that our reservations department can get in touch and send out the invitations and other information relating to taking advantage of the prize.
